Written up after the visit
Faults we have had our hands on, described as they actually present. If one of these saves you a call, that is a good result.
- Wolf Range Knob Replacement: Knob, Valve or a New Range? Most Wolf range knobs pull straight off the stem, and a replacement ordered by model and serial number presses on in under a minute. If the new knob fits but the burner or oven still misbehaves, the fault sits behind the panel.
- Wolf Oven Smells Like Gas: Leak, Burn-Off or Late Ignition If your oven smells like a gas leak, with a strong rotten-egg odor, leave the house without touching switches or flames and call the gas utility or 911 from outside. A faint whiff that fades within a second or two of the burner lighting is usually normal.

Which band your call lands in is settled by the diagnosis on the visit, never on the phone. For comparison, a comparable replacement appliance is $6,850 to $19,240 before delivery, fitting, gas or electrical work — which is why most of these repairs are still the cheaper answer.
